How do I change the name on my bank account?
Each bank may have a slightly different procedure to follow but most will require that you visit your local branch in person, you will need to provide ID and your signed Deed Poll. Alternatively you may contact your bank’s local branch in writing, if you choose to notify your bank in writing then you may wish to use our free covering letter template.
